Isn't this supposed to be a forum FOR ENCOURAGEMENT? We can all be hopeful for the women who would love to be pregnant with twins... JUST AS WE ARE ALL ENCOURAGE EACH OTHER WHEN WE ARE (WERE) TRYING TO CONCEIVE. There are many women on the Pregnancy Symptoms board that have NEVER been pregnant... therefore the don't know what it is like, or what to expect... however, they still encourage each other.

Thanks ladies for everything..I do believe, and since everyone especially LIN states their beliefs around here. Ladies that can feel all the LITTLE things going on and knowing your pregnant before test etc. Feel blessed, fortunate, and special. Keep your head up and don't waiver for those who accuse you of not being scientific or knowledgeable about things going on in your own body :-) I think it's a gift and a beautiful thing for those that know before something SCIENTIFIC can prove it True.

What is the point of encouragement when you have NO dang idea what it is like to have twins? HOw can you give advice if you have never experienced it. I have seen so many ladies "encouraged" by well meaning people who have no d__n idea what they are talking about. IT give false hope to people which is more damaging as ladies are hugely disappointed when they find it is only one, or they insist that the multiple sonos must have missed the other baby. Most ppl who come here suspectign are NOT pg with twins. And most who come here looking for ways to increase their chances do NOT conceive twins. This board is t_tled twins and multiple births. If you are NOT pg with twins than why are you here? Maybe there needs to be a separate board for ladies who are suspecting twins....then they can get all the support and encouragement without cluttering those boards of ppl who ARE pg with twins. Those ppl must get tired of sifting thru useless posts of wanna bes.

MrsShelton..Thanks for your encouragement, wisdom, and kind words.

twins4us..Understood..Thanks

Okay, well.. I have to say, I am a wanna be pregnant mother of twins... WHY? Because I am 9.5 weeks pregnant with twins, but only one of which is alive. The other one will eventually be reabsorbed. If you don't want to sift through the post, then look at the t_tle... u know what this thread is all about, and if you don't like it, get the heck off of it. Why don't you start your own thread and t_tle it "ONLY FOR CONFIRMED MULTIPLE PREGNANCIES" That way you don't have to "sift". I am not being sarcastic... I am making a suggestion. I am sick and tired of the way women are being treated on here. I am about ready to give up this entire website. I know we are all pregnant and hormonal... but d__n!

But please consider your statement.

twins4us - I came here to get advice from woman that have had several pregnancies prior to a mulitiple. And KNEW they had more then one before a doctor had to tell them. Regardless of how everyone feels around here. I find it VERY hard for me (myself) to need a doctor to tell me what's WRONG with me. I will always know it before he would. For eaxample..I could not except the fact that after my blood test on Dec 29th that I wsa not pregnant. Keep in mind that I didn't want to be pregnant whatsoever, and even experienced a bit of anger for being pregnant. Because it is not what I wanted. Therefore I'm not hoping for twins, wanting, twins. I'm just staing Now that I am pregnant, there are more then one baby in there. This is my body and I can feel it.

It's already been considered, and I am out. I am going back to my first trimester board, and signs of pregnancy board... I will not be back on here. Good Luck to all of you.

twins4us - Just as baffled as you are about "How" I can feel what's going on inside of me. I am just as baffled how you needed a doctor to tell you that you had 2 babies with your twins..can't you reason and understand what I'm saying? I'm not here to call you names or harra__s you because you had NO IDEA you were having twins. I'm just here to say..When I give birth, No Ifs, ands, buts, and supposes, that more then one child will come out.

For example..I broke my foot. I felt it crack and knew it was broke. I went to the doctors office and he examined the foot and actually said "I don't think it's broke, just sprained" He was going to send me home. I told him. "MY FOOT IS BROKEN" Well he took an Xray and came back and looked at me weird, he said, "Your foot is broken". I then had a cast for healing. Sometimes people just know what's going on with themselves. My daughter broke her thumb, had an xray, and I was told it WASN'T broke. Six weeks later the hospital called. They sid that a specialist was looking at the Xray and her thumb was broke. She had to go back and then they addressed the problem. What we are trying to say is DIFFERENT STROKES FOR DIFFERENT folks! Statistics do not pertain to 100% of the world, nor every person walking the face of the earth. I have had enough and say enough. Thoes who want to see my babies, can go to the website, or email me. Thanks All

I know I shouldn't be here, as I wouldn't know if I was having twins right now if I tried, since I haven't even had my first ultrasound yet, but Mrs. Shelton is right. Since every woman is so different you are going to get, surprise, different stories! Some things that may seem ridiculous to one, may not seem so ridiculous to another. My fiance and I only got together one time this cycle, four times in my last one. And surprise, I got pregnant from that one time, as soon as we were done we both said to each other, that I am going to get knocked up. Yes it seems ridiculous, surprised even me., But celebrate the differences here, and I am truly sorry for the real trolls that come around here confusing everyone. I don't believe Kim is a troll of course, she just has different ideas and feelings from any other woman, like I have different feelings from any other woman, and that goes for everyone here. I'd hate to see anyone leave over that!

Kim, well I guess time will tell. I frequent another board on ivillage and a gal there keeps stats on how many ppl "knew" it was twins before the sono. 850 people posted that they suspected due to early movement, movement in more than one place at the same timeb, early hpt, severe m/s, got big fast, just a feeling, or a family history. Tina did a follow up on all 850 and 43 actually had it confirmed...so I don't place any stock in intuition or a feeling....as it was only 5% that were right on. I do conceed your point about likening me to not knowing and needing an u/s and you just knowing as similar. I can't wait until the 11th.

twins4us - March 29

btw Kim.....why don't you put your belly pictures and your sono on your website.

LOL.. You know what i know this is off topic a bit but that whole break thing happend to me too TWICE. I have a disability and i've broken my leg 4 times because of it. (well one time I broke 2 seperate bones) Anyway. I broke my femur when I was 16, then when I was 17 and then again just after I turned 18. The third time I told the doctor that my tibia was broken too. They said it wasnt so after 2 weeks of being miserable (laid up in the hospital still) I asked for another doctor to look again. Sure enough a clean break!!! I WAS PISSED.. Then in May 2 years ago I was in a very bad car accident. I was transported by ambulance to the hospital where they ran all sorts of Xrays, cat scans, and other crazy tests. I had been knocked un concious during the accident and both of my lungs collapsed also! Not to mention my entire left side was BLACK from brusing. The docs said nothing was broken though. Which was odd because I felt broken. Im my chest and side mostly. I went back to the ER like a month later because I still couldnt lay down at night (had to sleep sitting/reclined) They did more Xrays and found I had 2 broken ribs.. Have yet to recover from them also.. :( they still hurt now and then.
