Dinks, Irish and Ash-
Thank you kindly for your input. I really appreciate someone answering me back. i start to take it personal.... or maybe its the clomid making me sensative!!
I realize multiples would be hard work but having 4 kids total is not really that many--for my family. i come from a huge family and that will come in handy when i need some help the first few months!!
I picked up some wild Yams today at the Mexican market downtown. im affraid to try it with my 150mg clomid incase it really does work-- to well. i maybe want 2, not 4.
i ran into this woman on sunday who took clomid for a few months before falling pregers. She said she had 4 babies and lost 2 within 8 wks but i met her 6 year olds and they are healthy and beautiful. im not sure how they would take care of the 2 that were lost.... i didnt have the heart to ask her. SHe said she still thinks of them and what they would have looked like.
im so scared to have a MC..... i think i should track my ovulation a little better so i can start that progesterone cream.
Thanks for listening:-)
If you dont mind.... i will stick around a while to see how you ladies progress. im not much of a talker-- maybe ask a question here and there.
thanks again!!

Irish: Dont give up hope yet!! You know what they say it aint over till the fat lady (AF) sings!
Does anyone have any idea how long the clomid stays in your system? Im wondering when the symptons ( the headaches are doing me in!) finish?

Dinks-
when i ttc #1 6+yrs ago, i took clomid for 3 mos, having short (28 days) cycles as apposed to 35+ days..... then that 4th month i stopped taking the clomid cause it was such an emmotional roller coaster-- and i got pregers on CD16--which i know for certain because i was still temping... anyhoo, to answer your question... i would say it stays in your system at least a month longer- for me cause it helped me get pregnant, i have a feeling it was lack of CM on clomid that made it take more then a couple cycles. when i told my doc about my CM he didnt agree with me and pa__sed it off(2001). this time(2007) when he gave me a script, he added on Estrace--which he explained as being something to help with hostile mucus. He changed his tune-- Get with the program DOC--sometimes us women know more then you do :-)-

I hear ya Sarah.... When I was in the hospital for premature labor, I told the doc that I thought that the stuff they were using wasn't working, and he wanted to send me home that day.... 10 min after he walked out the door, my water broke.LOL And he called himself a expert in High Risk Births.LOL One thing I've learned about Dr's, is that they think they know EVERY THING because they have a degree in it.... Alot of their education is book smarts, and when you don't fall into this norm and it can't be found in a book, then it does not exsist and there fore you can't be experiencing this problem... Thanks for the support Dinks.... It just been really hard... I've been at it for 3 1/2 years, and the last pregnacy resulted in a miscarriage with in days after I found out I was PG.... It was devistating.... I had never experienced any thing like that before.... I'm healthy as a horse.... If any thing, I'm a prime canadate for carrying a baby.... But, for some reason.... it didn't work and the Drs didn't even want to explore why.... They just blamed it on missing Chromosomes.... When as I researched, I found out that 75-80% of the time it actually due to hormone, and not the chromosomes.... Just ticks me off when you can't get quality care.... I'm hoping all is well though, and I'm trying to stay posative yet optamistic this first month of clomid..... Well, any how, tomarrow is D-day, or for us POAS-day (peeing on a stick) If I'm not showing posative by then then I will stop the progestrone to allow my body to cycle.... If I get a posative, I'll cross my fingers and pray it sticks.... I'm drinking pregnacy tea right now to help keep me calm and my organs strong.... We'll see!

Irish: I couldnt wait and took a test today. It came back negative. This was an early test and i used an early preg test. Im not too dispondant. Im going to wait until the weekend to see if i get my first AF for 2 years! Im hoping not. So its still a waiting game for me, but if its still negative by then i guess im def not preg.

Dinks, if you haven't had a period, then I would definately not exspect to get PG the first month... It takes several cycles for your eggs to get maturing... Maybe increase your dosage to 150mg.... Did you even ovulate? Please don't do temping sense clomid throws your temping off all the time.... Use a fertility monitor of some sort...............................Well, I got a faint posative on an Answer brand today. The store was out of first response... Last month when I was PG, I couldn't pull a posative out of one of them at all, but first response was showing faint posatives.... I guess that could possibly be a good sign considering when I was getting posatives last time on first response, I didn't get any thing off from answer.... So, still crossing fingers....

Nina-
yes, i too think that docs are just book smart but i feel so stupid trying to tell them my ideas.... sometimes they arent open to new ideas!
BTW i think i saw you mention you were trying for #3....me too. it feels weird to be back on these boards all these years later...... but its really fun and makes the waiting better for sure!!
im on 150mg on cd 8 (meds on cd2-cd7) and hoping AF doesnt show this early cause honestly... ive had some odd cycles and it wouldnt surprise me. I had a byopsy done on my inner cervix last thursday and i a__sumed i started AF at the same time cause it seemed like too much blood for "spotting" from the procedure..... so im hoping that it really was AF and i can continue on this cycle as normal.

to all-
just as im saying Hello to everyone i must say that this month is wasted so we will not be ttcing. I just found out that my abnormal pap smear-- that there may infact be some precancerous cells there.... and i have to get the LEEP proceedure done tomorrow morn. at the hospital. So that first round of 150mg clomid will infact get wasted and have to wait to start ttcing again. the bad news is that my chances of conepion will also dimish with this prodeedure. they have to cut out a significant amount of cervix (inner) and that could effect my chances to conceive. My sad but i guess it was all meant to be that i go get my annual before i starting ttcing again. wish me luck and i will be around.... just waiting for more+++!!
talk soon

sarah35: That truely SUCKS!!!!! Don't give up hope though... There's still IUI treatment that can bypa__s the cervix, and I had a leep prodecure and was fine.... It all depends on your dr and how much they feel they need to take. Get a second opinion before you let them proceed... I did, they told me the same thing.... Turned out that is was v____al warts that my X husband gave me (needless to say, we broke up). Listen, always get a second opion when you're dealing with some thing that has perminent effects on your body....................................................................
ninasimmone: I hope that truely is a BFP for you... Please keep us posted and back it up with a beta level. make sure you get the one done that tells you exactly what your beta level is.... Don't just accept the Dr to say Negative or Posative... Find out the level and keep track of it each time you get one done..... The level tells you alot about the health of your baby.........................................
Man, waiting to verify pregnacy is more agonizing then the TWW..... You feel you could be, tests are saying you could be, and yet you're afraid because that happy time has been stolen from you before..... I wish I had those big bright BFPs like I see some women get..... Right now I feel slight pressure, but no cramping, and if I stand for long periods of time, my lower back gets tender.... Got a few bouts of nausea, but nothing that couldn't be mistaken for a simple sour tummy.... Keep us posted girls!!!! BRING ON THE BFPs!

sarah: i'm really sorry to hear that and hopefully everything goes well. i'll say a little prayer for you. also, maybe the clomid will help you keep a nice normal cycle to help you later on with trying. irish: i know what you mean. although i've never had a bfp but i would love to be like the ladies in the movies where they are so happy and blah blah and then they are a day late on their periods and they're like "omg something is wrong...*puke!*". but no lol we have to be so complicated.
