sarah: i'm really sorry to hear that and hopefully everything goes well. i'll say a little prayer for you. also, maybe the clomid will help you keep a nice normal cycle to help you later on with trying. irish: i know what you mean. although i've never had a bfp but i would love to be like the ladies in the movies where they are so happy and blah blah and then they are a day late on their periods and they're like "omg something is wrong...*puke!*". but no lol we have to be so complicated.

Irish: I used both ovulating stick and my clear blue fertility monitor, both said I did ovulate! Im hoping that as I concieved my first daughter naturally, that the clomid will just jump start me again. I am due my AF on saturday, so fingers crossed she doesnt arrive. Good news for the postive test, lets up you have a secret present for your family this christmas.
Also some good news I havent had a headache all day which is the first time since starting clomid. Im so grateful for this thread, its great to talk to people who are going through the same thing! It would be impossible to do this alone

Teddyfinch: yeah, I can't stand those barbie dolls, plastic surgery wonders.LOL They make it all look so easy and stress free... And no one ever miscarries in the movies, that would be bad for their ratings.......................................................................
Dinks: I'm right there with you. I have easily spend over $100 on pregnacy tests. I bought a digitals the moment I got the VEEEEEEEERY faint posatives on the first response, and they kept comming back negative..... It was killing me, but sure enough the tests are getting darker and darker, not brilliant yet, but definately defining... I bought anouther digital today after my negative on the clear blue digital last night and took it with a normal every day sample around 3:30pm... Got the words "pregnant".... This happened last month, so hopefully I have better luck this cycle, but girls.... I am pregnant, it just a matter of if it will stick...... again, keep me in your prayers... I hope that doesn't sound too selfish...

irish: doesn't sound selfish to me at all. i've already said a little prayer for you today but i'll say another before bed. good luck with this one! i took another ovulation test today and there still wasn't a surge. is it possible i've missed it? but that would mean i ovulated between cd10 and cd14. is that possible? lately i've felt a lot of pressure in my tummy. i know for sure now that it is my ovaries and when i use the restroom it's a little tender to push. (anything not just poo lol) i ordered a 50 pack of opk from saveontests.com and they still haven't showed up. i'm really hoping i didn't get scammed. i tried charting my temps but they were everywhere and i think my thermometer's broken now because i'm stuck at 97.5 now lol. i've also had a lot of cramps lately like af is coming and my head's been hurting. i've been unable to (TMI ALERT!) go number 2. bb's aren't hurting tho but i have felt kinda sick. so i think af is around the corner. but like i said. if it comes on it's own, i'll be ecstatic about that aswell. but what do you think about my funny if present at all ovulation ladies? irish?

Teddyfinch: I have to be honest.... Half the time I missed my surge with those stupid sticks and they never worked.... I used the ovulation watch 3 months and got PG two out of those three... That's how accurate it is.... Invest in it, it's worth it... Completely takes the guessing out of ovulating..... As for your sympthomes, they could be a number of reasons for them, but hopefully your body snuck in an ovulation and you can join me in preggers land, and hopefully we can all live happily pregnant after.........................................
So far, my tests are still looking good, and I've pulled up "pregnant on clear blue digital yesturday, and not on the walgreen's digital, but first thing this mourning, the walgreen's digital read "pregnant". So, saying prayers and trying to think happy thoughts... OB never called me back about getting a betta level done.... What a shmuck!....Any ways, good luck to all you girls, and I'll kep you posted....

Teddy: I ovulated days 9-11! I used the pee on sticks and a clear blue fert_tlity monitor and they both said those days, which I found weird because alot of woman on clomid said they ovulated later than normal; not earlier. But I followed what the tests said and BD. AF is due tomorrow and no signs or syptoms yet!
Irish: I ve got everything crossed for you.
Over here in England we arent very religious but I can see why its nice to have faith in someone at times like these. It makes it seem like there is a reason for everything; even if we arent sure what that is right now.

Dinks: I'm actually Pegan and just believe that good thoughts make a big difference.... Some people call it praying, other say it's meditation, I call it posative thinking..... The more energy I have, the better I feel, even if it doesn't turn out.... ..........................................................................
I hate the pee strips, you can get false posatives while on clomid from those things..... Your body produces the LH hormone that those tests detect while using the clomid and for several days afterwards... Either way, looooove my watch..... Like I said before, out of the three months I've used it.... I got PG two times.... We've gotta be doing some thing right..............................................
Did my blood work today, so hopefully I'll know by monday what it is and probably go for anouther one on monday or tuesday to see if it's increasing right....

irish: that would be wonderful. and i just might invest in that watch. i'll talk to my hubby about it because it would be so helpful. and do you wear the watch all the time? or just sometimes or what? and a question i had far back was that i don't really sweat. i mean i do, but i can go to the gym and not sweat at all. but i'm keeping everything crossed for you! and bug your doctor all you can lol. dinks: i took clomid on days 5-9 so is it possible to ovulate while i'm still taking it? i mean, i'm pretty sensitive to meds so i guess it's possible. but none of my opk's said i was ovulating. of course i waited until at least 5 days after my last pill lol. and i still haven't gotten those tests i ordered! i'm getting frustrated with them. anyone have any problems with them? sarah: i'll still be here even if i do get pg on clomid. do you have any kids? cuz if you do i'll be asking ALL sorts of questions lol.

Teddyfinch: I do have two kids of my own froma previous relationship.... I run a day care from my home while going through school, so I definately have plenty of answers, but not all the answers even though that would makethings alot easier....... When it comes to the sweats, I'm not sure..... I did get warm at times after taking clomid, but I also ovulated on my own.... Not sure what it would do to a body that hasn't had a period in a long time... Definately some thing to ask your health care provider at your fallow up... The ov watch is warn for at least 6 hours at night and takes readings while you sleep.. I put mine on at 6pm, and wore it untill I woke up.... So long as it gets readings 6 hours streight and you don't get it wet... I love the thing.... I sware by it, and the preeseed I used, the instead cups, mucinex, fish oil, CO Q10, multivitimines, eavening prime rose, and my baby asprin.... I think it definately helped me beat the odds.... I was trying for 3 1/2 years, and in three months of using the watch and every thing else.... I got PG two times.... If that doesn't just beat the odds, I don't know what does...LOL.... Well, take care every one, and I'll keep checking in....

Well no good news here I'm afraid I did another test and it was negative. But no sign of AF. Im now begining to doubt if i actually ovulated at all. I guess the ovulation tests could have been wrong (even though I did wait 6 days after taking the clomid to test). So who knows if I will get my first peroid in 2 years ( I am actually hoping for it to arrive so at least I know the clomid took some effect! Im feeling pretty dispondant at the moment; sorry to be so negative.

Dinks: Try uping your dose to 150mg... That's what the RE would do..... I hear alot of women who have problems ovulating, have to take a higher dose gradually each month untill they reach their oral max of 200mg...... Don't loose hope...........................................................
As for me, I'm still PG.... Tests get stronger every day, and I'm waiting for beta level from friday..... Starting to get that real PG feeling... Slight neausea, and my b___sts are getting noticeible swollen...... It just so hard to relax and be happy.... After the loss last month and a 3 1/2 process to achieve that first pregnacy.... It hurt..... So, I guess to keep my heart safe, I don't get too excited..... Any ways, I'll probably make an apointment soon, just as soon as they get me my blood results back..... For those who are looking for early signs.... I feel slight tugging, and pinching sensations from time to time, but no real cramping.... Some do experience cramping though, but for me, I just have that dull tugging and pinching sensation once in a while... Usually at night or first thing in the mourning. The neausia isn't too bad, probably because of the natural progestrone cream I've been taking and the pregnacy tea I've been drinking.... Cross fingers and know on wood that this is it..............................Dinks: PS definately check into the watch.... It's more predictable and doesn't give off false readings.... You could've started to ovulate, but didn't pp out an egg..... If you're over 14 dpo with out a posative from answer or first response..... Then stop using it so you can possibly get a period...... If you don't get a period, call the dr's office about a quantum test... If it's negative(Quantum beta level >5) Then talk to them about a period inducer drug like prometrium or some thing, and then restart the clomid.....

irish: tell me what your opinion on this is. i took an opk yesterday and i definitely saw the second line but it wasn't as dark as the test line. i didn't have any tests the day before so i don't know what that one would have been. i took another test today and i saw the line but it was much lighter. do you suppose i O'd on the 16th? and if so, how long should i give before expecting af? i've never had a normal cycle where i knew i o'd and i don't know if i did this time, but i felt a lot of pressure in my tummy a couple of days before i got the lines so i'm guessing that was it. and do you think i should ask my ob/gyn about a trigger shot to cause ovulation? i was told she was being "aggressive" with my body, but to me, if she was, she would be giving me shots and doing u/s's and everything. so what do you think?

irishsweetie2003, I've looked online at the quality generics and they are out of the Philippines. How do you know that you can trust their clomid? I'm only asking because I'm taking 100 mg right now and it's $90/month, which is adding up. Their website would be A LOT cheaper, but I'm not sure what to think. I tried reviewing that site online but only found people saying they never received their meds? Anyone else? I'd love to hear anyone else's input on online meds...I don't want to hear banter about with vs. without a prescription. Please keep it simple. Thank you!

oooh also: i took 50mg clomid on cd5-9(nov. 2nd - 6th) and about 3 days ago had a lot of pain and bloating in my tummy. 2 days after this i took a ovulation test and saw a faint line. i took one today and the line was even lighter so i'm wondering if maybe i ovulated the day after these pains or the day of. my question is this: i don't have any pain or bloating anymore or feel any pressure when i use the restroom. should that mean that i have, in fact, ovulated? and if i had not, wouldn't i still be feeling the bloating and pressure when i (tmi warning) use the restroom and have to push?
