babyloves..so about what you have to go thru..not knowing your background..have you talk to the doctors..why your cycle is longer on clomid..why you not ovulate..i wonder whether you need a higher dose to stimulate ovul or need trigger shot to release the eggs..maybe need lapro to see if the tubes are open...usually clomid should cycle 27-30 days. when to expect AF..usually if you are on cd30, no AF, no +pregnant test urine and bloodwork, then they would give you provera to start AF again..but they have to make sure that you are pregnant... find reasons why not ovulation..I know some people did not ovulate until higher dose like 150 to 200mg. ask a doctor whether for you whether 3-7, 5-9 cddays would be better for you to help with o since more mature follicles will be release..maybe your follicle was too small to be release..im not sure..you have to make your own decision...i have friends and co-workers who took several attempts with clomid before pregnant, or use IUD, and/or In vitro..

BUMP! Is this thread dead? Can we get it going again? Hi everyone. I just found this thread as I was looking online for clomid info. Here's my story...I'm approaching 40 this year; I had one child naturally-it took us 6 months to conceive-he's 15 months now. We've been ttc for a full year now-using the ovul predictor kits and all-with no haps. Because I've tried for 1 year, and b/c of my age, I started looking into taking u/p clomid. To the ladies wondering why some of us would take clomid u/p, I wanted to respectfully offer some insight as to why. We all know how incredibly expensive fertility treatments are, and my insurance-the only ins I can afford currently-won't cover ANY of it! Of course I would feel a thousand % safer under the care of an MD, but there's no way I can't afford to pay cash for the treatments. So my options are to just continue to wait and wait and pray to God to bless us with another baby (which I'll do with or w/o clomid), or I can enhance the possibility of conception with u/p clomid and d/c it's use, and/or see a doctor if I have any problems. And of course I will be monitored if/when I get pg. In short, I just wanted to say that everyone is not in the same position to access medical care to the same degree. I'm sure that's a major reason why some of us go 'underground' in order to establish our families. God Bless you all, and may you all have happy, healthy babies! :) Pls women! HELP! Took 50mg Clomid on days 5-9 two months ago, ovulated, but did not conceive, period on day 32. Last month took 100mg Clomid days 5-9, ovulated, but did not conceive. Period on day 32. Today (day 1) wanting to start taking (day 1-5) 100mg of Clomid. Want to conceive!!!! Please help!!

Hey, I took 100 mg of clomid on days 1-5...I am now on 10dpo and waiting to test maybe tomorrow or the next. Twins would be awesome...but i really just want a bfp that lasts!!

I live in the midwest. My husband and I are both in our mid-twenties and after a year and a half of trying begin clomid. I was ovulating, sperm count was normal - and still no luck. After 7 cycles with clomid we are finally pregnant. Now we anticipate finding out how many little ones there are. I had 3 follicles that were ready to release at the last transv____al ultrasound. Any ideas?

Shey- No we didn't have any trigger shots. Our OB wasn't sure what was going on but went ahead and left us on clomid after the typical 6 month time frame. We are both active, non-smokers or drinkers and very healthy. After reading how many women get pregnant after only a few cycles we were getting very discouraged. I had to give up control of the situation and it finally happened. Like I said previously, we had three follicles that were going to release so next week we'll find out how many babies we have. Still no morning sickness- only tender ta-tas!

I am 28 yrs and dh is 30 with great sa. We have been ttc since June '05 with no luck. Dr put me on 50mg of clomid day 5-9. I am taking 2nd pill today and since my periods are so irregular I have no idea when to try and the bd!!! Any suggestions? Any helpful comments would be greatly appreciated-THANKS!!!

Hello. I have been reading these forums since I started clomid about 2 weeks ago and I thank everyone for sharing their stories. I am 21 and have been diagnosed with PCOS. I am currently on CD16 on my first round of 50mg Clomid days 3-7. I did not experience any side effects except minor hot flashes while in bed. I have cramps in my lower right side, almost like AF cramps. I think I may be O'ing now..not really sure how to tell besides a OPK or taking temps... anyone have similar symptoms and conceive on the first try? I would love to conceive =) Any info or suggestions would be great! Thanks!

I took clomid days 3-7. I started using opk's on day 10 and also temped. I conceived with the 1st round and now have 2 beautiful baby girls. They were born 8 weeks early at 28 weeks and are still in the hospital. Good luck to all.
