Why do we want twins?~~~~Because my husband and I found ourselves "later" in life than many, three years ago, then we wanted to form a strong, secure marriage before bringing children into it. (and wait for him to retire from the Navy so he would be around to bond with the kids instead of overseas in dangerous places all the time). He is now 40 and I am 37. So not a lot of time left. We would love to have twins so we don't end up with just an only child before my eggs give out. Also, after age 35, pregnancies are riskier, so we would rather put ourselves through the risks, etc, just once.

Hi everyone
For me it`s just the feeling I`ve got. I`ve got a three year old daughter wich i love to bits but you know when you get babyfever and you just see babys and pregnant women everywhere???
I just want twins. It`s in my head and in my heart.
There are lots of women in my family with twins so fingers crossed. I`m even temted to take clomid if I can get hold of it because the urge is so strong...
I will also be using all the things that i can find recomended such as yams and folic acid.
I don`t just wanna have a baby I want two!
I will need to do more online research first about pro`s and con`s but twins is all I can think about...

I want twins because Hubbie Says this will be our last pregnancy :( and also because I can not go through this ttc journey again. I always wanted three children SO hoping this is my month and Hoping for a healthy Baby be it one or two. (but secretly wishing for two!)

*Sighs* I think risking ones health and the life of two babies in the quest to have "cute" twins or an instant large family is pretty wrong. I was adopted because my parents couldn't even conceive one child, so I think it's totally ungrateful to force nature by trying to conceive multiples. And if you think it's going to be easier to have one pregnancy and get it over with, you're wrong. It's three times as bad as a regular pregnancy!

Ill be honest I was never the girl that wanted twins I thought it was precious but never not once had the thought ever entered my mind that it was for me. Im only 21 I have a 3 year old and a 1 1/2 year old. We accidentally got pregnant and my 3 year old wasnt even two thenm, well it ended up twins but they didnt make it so now its just a longing there that I think will help by filling up with twins.Im not getting on any fertility drugs or anything like that but I am taking folic acid and Vitex to help me get regular since my menstrual has been very bizarre since the miscarriage and eating healthier and even drinking more milk- If its meant to be it will happen if not then it wasn't Gods will.Good luck to all you ladies ttc!
