soReady- oh my honey... wow!! I totally understand then. Did u say anything to your doc about it. I was thinking mybe they might have some trial packs or something. I have a friend over in Italy right know. and she has all her stuff sent to her moms house... then her mom over nights it over there. I don't think we are going to try this month. Hubbys not up for as he wants to weight tell we know whats going on with us... or are back home. I would like to... but i do have to buy clomid. I was thinking about just getting some and taking it just to see how it makes me feel and such. i know that sounds crazy but some people seem to have a real hard time with it. theres a gal on cafemom that ends up in bed half the day. I think the trick is taking it at night. So i am going to try and order some off the internet sep.1 payday... My good friend told me to just stay off birthcontrol and take clomid and see what happens.... but i am not sure cus like i said i haven't gotten hubby up for it yea. I wanted to try for a boy this time around. I have always wanted 4 and was hoping for 2 boys and 2 girls.. but honestly i would be happy for anything i get... LOL I know some people don't tell there hubbys there not on it..... i am still up in the air but clomid is something i would really like to try and do... does that sound crazy... ?

laura - That doesnt sound crazy. My hubby knows that we are trying but he doesnt know that I am on clomid. Being that there is a small chance of conceiving multiples, I know that he would not want me to take it. He has only agreed to having 1 more baby so the chance of having more then that would not make him happy. I told my OB that the pharmacy was out and there was nothing that she could do. She said that we would have to wait until next cycle. So I am hoping that my unprescribed clomid will work. Almost everyone that I know who have taken clomid has had s/e. I am very lucky because I dont tend to have s/e from any meds so I take my clomid in the morning. But I think that a lot of people are taking it in the evenings or at night to avoid being wake when they get the s/e. Good Luck trying the clomid. I hope that your s/e will be minimal.

SoReady - Can't you get the hcg without you taking the clomid? How are you doing anyway. I am thinking about I am not doing anything just hanging out. I am on cd6 and I was able to send in some money to the fertility doctor to have my surgery. I guess I will be getting me some more opk because I only have 2 left and when I went to Big Lots they didn't have any in so I guess I will have to go to the $1 store. Have a nice evening. Krissy

Krissy - The problem is my OB doesnt know that I have u/p clomid. She thinks that I have only been taking the rx clomid that she has been giving me. If I go in to get the shot and I have a mature follie then she will a__sume that I dont need the clomid. And then she will drop me as a fertility patient.

SoReady- u know what i might do... i would take it... then when u go in and if there is a follie... then i would tell her your mother from the states got some and over nighted it to u. Just tell her with hubby going away in NOV. u just couldn't take missing one single chance. thats what i would say... i don't think a fertilit doc. would say anything after that... they deal with woman all the time that will not want to miss any one single chance...

laura - I think that I know what I am going to do. I am going to start doing OPK's on cd10 and if I haven't O'ed by cd19 or cd20 then I will see if my OB will take a look at my ovaries. This way she can tell me if I O'ed, if I have a mature follie (in which case I will ask for the hcg shot), or if she thinks that I'm not going to O. If I am not going to O then she can go ahead and give me provera to bring on AF.

Hi, I need some advice. I can't figure out how to post a question so I am putting it here hoping someone can help. I really want to have twins. I already have 2 children ages 8 and 5 that were conceived naturally. I am hoping that by taking clomid I will get twins. I have been on the birth control pill for 3 years. I am wondering if I should stop taking the birth control a few monthes before I ttc or should I keep taking it untill the month I am ready to ttc? I have heard that if you get pregnant right after you stop birth control you could have a slight higher chance for getting twins but I dont know how that would work with clomid. The other question is I have been trying to lose weight before I get pregnant but it is not coming of fast enough. I am 5'3 and 174 pounds. I wanted to get down to 140 but I really want to start ttc in September. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also does anyone know the best place to get clomid from Mexico? I dont want to order from India. Thanks

i found a link... that is a place you go and put in the date that you started taking clomid and it caculates and tells you when you should ovulate based off of when you started taking the clomid. I was walking running up to 6 miles a day... with nothing happening... LOL I am goign to do 100 mg days 3-7... i know some girls want to clomid 5-6... but i think i am goign to try that... another gal on here had luck with it.

Hey laura, I actually have a website that I sometimes go to called babymed dot com and they have all sorts of calculators and information. The only problem with these calculators are that they a__sume that you are only taking clomid for 5 days. I am taking it for 7 days. If I dont get a BFP this cycle then I will be taking clomid again next cycle. I am just guessing but I should probably start my next cycle by Sept. 8th if I dont get prego this cycle.

SoReady - How are you doing? I understand what you saying about your doc not knowing about the u/p I like your plan. As for me nothing much is going on AF found me last saturday and I am now on cd7 and I am not doing anything this cycle I am not taking any meds I am only taking my temp and I will of course use my opk I only have 2 left so I have to get some over the weekend so I can start testing on cd10. Also I have decided to have the surgery done by the fertility doctor so I had some money that I was going to get the kids some more school clothes and then I decided not I am going to start thinking about me for a change so i sent in the $100 towards my surgery and I know need $650.00 so I can now start to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I am hoping to have it done before the end of the year. I hope you have a great weekend. Krissy

OK, so I have confused myself even more then I was earlier. I took an OPK expecting it to be negative confirming that the pain in my ab's yesterday was due to the clomid. Normally my negative OPK's only have 1 line. Today it had 2 lines but the test line was not as dark as the control line. I am starting tpo think that I might be O'ing early. Your LH surge (which give you a + OPK) usually occurs 24 hours before O. Today I temp dropped dramaticly so if my temp tomorrow is high then that will confirm O. I wish that I would have thought about taking an OPK yesterday because I am wondering if it would have been +. What do yall think?

SoReady - so ready i would think u are about to or did... my sister o liked that and when she did her opk line was fant and sure enough she got prego. Are u still on the clomid? also...when u "o" i was talk its almost a like a cramping feeling down there... some woman can feel it some cant... i can once in awhile... but think again i would be looking for it... then looking at my temp and discharge... u know all the sings u are "o" ing... LOL but stick with it girl... how knows... (( lots of baby dust )) I am goign to order my clomid here soon. I just have to sale some more hair bows and what not here on line... and i think i am going to go to walk mart and lode it up on one of those cards. so it looks like i will start it next cycle... I started my period normal this month on the 29th day.. well late late the 29th day... (( that night )) is that normal to have preiods that are that long? i know it doesn't seem that long but hwne i had my 2 other kids i was on 27 days cycle... it just feels werid... it taking a few days longer...

laura - My biggest worry is that I am only on cd9. If I am O'ing right now I think that is a bit early. I have had ewcm for 5 days now and this morning my temp dropped. So I just dont know what to think. Thats great that you are going to get your clomid! Next cycle will be exciting for you. It is normal for your cycle to change a little. I wouldnt worry about. Clomid is said to delay O for most people so if you dont O until cd17 then that's ok.

SoReady- hey girl... i went in to the cafemom group to see if anyone has "o" that early before... one gal did say she "o" on the 10th day... and then the next month it was late again... she said hers jumps all around. I thought that was kind of funny and had to share with ya. I guess u never know when your body wants to "0" LOL... so i have to ask where did ya'll get your test stripes to see if u are "o" ing? I was thinking about ebay... but i wasn't sure hwo to look it up or what to look for. I am also going to get clomid from trusted tabs . com , has anyone gotten theres from here?

laura - I got my u/p clomid from a pharmacy in Mexico but since then they have stopped selling it. I buy all my tests on ebay. They are so cheap there. I bought 50 OPK for about $15 and that included the shipping. They are also the most sensative test i have found on the market, they measure 20miL. Look for those! I also got my HPT on ebay for about the same price.
