My boyfriend and I are trying to have a baby. My great grandfather was a twin and noone on our side of the family has had twins since. Plus, my boyfriends mom is a twin. What are the chances of our having twins? Thanks!

The ability to have twins comes from the mother, if there are twins on your side of the family you may have a chance of conceiving twins.

Probably slightly higher than the general population, but not any real difference. Still like a 1 in several thousand chance... I wouldn't put money on it!
