Yes, it increases your chances, only slightly in most studies. I think most studies say you only have a 1/10 chance, compared to a 1/20 chance. But, I've also heard the chances are much greater if you ovulate normally already, and have no problem concieving. I've heard of a lot of people actually concieving multiples after taking Clomid. Hope that helps.

Clomid makes you ovulate. If you don't ovulate regularly, Clomid can help with that. Clomid also increases the chances that you ovulate more then 1 mature and ready egg, so your chances of having twins is slightly higher. Please, do your research before taking Clomid. Naturally occuring twins are nice and unexpected, but taking potentially harmful drugs just to achieve a multiple pregnancy is not only unsafe, it isn't smart. With multiples, there are much higher chances of fetal death. Your baby(s) DIE. It is also hard on your body, and in some studies has been shown to increase your chances of cysts and cancer. If you don't NEED clomid to ovulate, then PLEASE, don't take it. It's just not worth the risk!
