Hi sorry no one answered your question... I would start it right away, cant hurt! The lotion wont bother your baby. My doctor actually told me to use it,lol. I still got them anyway. I've heard that if you are gonna get them then you'll get them whether you use lotion or not. But like I said can't hurt to try. Also they have this stuff called mederma. You can use that too! Its kinda expensive though but it will heal the stretch marks once you get them. Start using it right away for best results.. it might even prevent them?!?

Nivea regular body lotion is the best thing. When my neighour was bit by a dog, the plastic surgeon told him to use it on his scars, and you really have to strain to see where they are now. Much cheaper than the other creams too.

My advice is to use some sort of Cocoa B___ter or Shea B___ter. I was recommended Cocoa B___ter, but it makes me itch so I switched to Shea B___ter and began using it all over my body once a day before I began to show. I have a very skinny frame and had a pretty large baby (all int he belly too) and have not a stretch mark. Also, make sure you drink plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated as this will help your skin ratin it's elasticity. Good luck!
