6 Weeks Pregnant

Hello, I'm six weeks as well. You are 6 weeks but according to the method that Dr.'s use yes, you are really 8 weeks. They add 2 weeks. It goes way back to a formaula that they used to determine gestational age before ultrasounds were available. The technique goes like this: Ona 28 day cycle-figure out the 1st day that you bled on your last period, add 7 days to that & subtract 3 months. Add one year & you'll have your due date. :) Hope this helps.

I am 9 weeks pregnant, but have been feeling big since 6 weeks! I bought some maternity clothes too at 7 weeks, is it normal to be so big, especially as I am 5ft 8in? It is difficult to hide the bump at work until after my scan!

to wendy, if the dr says you are 6 weeks you would have only been pregnant for four weeks, they add 2 weeks because they dont know the exact date orf conception.

I am about 6 weeks along. Tender b___sts, no nausea or sickness at all. Had two previous miscarriages in a row and freaked out about his pregnancy.

I'm glad to hear I'm not alone! I'm also 6 weeks and one day pregnant. I have not noticed weight gain yet, but I do feel a little bloated. My clothes still fit me and I haven't had to buy new pants yet. I have sensitive b___sts, I'm tired, but no nausea yet.

I'm 6 weeks as well. I haven't gained any weight I've actually lost about 5 pounds. My clothes don’t fit differently I don’t think but I'm thinking I'm becoming more aware of the way they look. But I'm not showing yet, and I haven't have any nausea yet so I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one.

if you work out when your last period started and count that as the 1st dayof pregnancy count how many days and calculate into how many weeks you are eg43 days from day 1 of last period will mean you are 6weeks and 1 day. hope this will helpyou

Hi Melissa, I am approx. 6 weeks as well. I've gained 5lbs. and have a huge appet_te. I do feel my waist is much larger and my chest has increased in size as well. Hope this helps.

Well, this is rea__suring. I'm almost 8 wks along, and feeling very bloated. A couple pair of my pants are getting uncomfortable, but I haven't gained any weight. The lack of weight gain is, I suspect, due to the fact my morning-noon-and-night sickness makes it difficult to keep anything down. Has anyone else had horrendous morning sickness? Is there anything I can do about it? I've tried eating soda crackers, and making sure my stomach is never empty or full.

i am 13weeks 6 days and am getting bigger. in my first month i lost 9 lbs due to morning sickness(although it was all day all night) my b___st hurt like crazy and have gone up a full cup size already!! my belly is getting rather big now and i have since gained my nine lbs. back. i had days where i felt great and worried but i had my doppler scan and heard the baby's heartbeat and dr. said everything was perfect. good luck ladies there is light at the end of thirteen weeks, i dont get sick anymore just a little heartburn.

i was terrible with my first baby i was sick at least 8 times a day, with this pregnancy i have only been sick one time although i feel sick 24 hrs a day. if you are sick more than 5 times a day you must visit your docter who should be able to give you tablets which are safe to take. being sick alot can cause dehydration and is not very good for you or the baby.

Hi! I'm 6 weeks tomorrow and I have been suddenly eating like a horse. I am bloated and my face is fuller. I am probably gaining some weight because I don't normally eat that way, but not much yet.

your uterus is expanding your about 1 month 1 week pregnant. your baby is grwoing fast, i am also 6 weeks i just got my 1 ultrasound, wonderful experience. just take it easy until your 2 trimester, when about 14 weeks. then your really safe .
