I am so confused. My husband and I are trying to get pregnant, after an emotion miscarriage 10 months ago due to an ectopic pregnancy. I stopped my birth control on April 7th. I had a normal period in June, but it was one day late. This month I was 5 days late. My husband an I tried twice during my week of ovulation. I felt sure I was pregnant. I started bleeding yesterday. My cycle is usualy right on time, and when I wen off birth contrl before, it was only off the first month after discontinuing the pills.It has been much lighter than my usual periods, and it is a bright red color. I also have alot of cramping in my abdomen and slight back pain, and I usually do not cramp, and when I do it does not feel like this. So the bleeding is started 17 days after ovulation, so is this too late for implatation bleeding? I plan to take a hpt thurday. Could I still be pregnant? any advise will be helpful.

Hi. Late implantation is very possible. I ovulated around Jan 25. Around 17 days later I thought that I started my period. Then it stopped, and I never stop. I am now almost 6 months with our first. Good luck and best wishes!

Thanks for responding tarheelfan7, I am just now getting to check this. I was not pregnant. But I actually had a positive HPT this week. So I am happ. I am almost five weeks, and looking forward to becoming a mom. Best wishes!
