Hey Im 17 and pregnant just so you know that Im on the same boat as you =]
Well..from what i've heard giving birth and going through labor is just painful no matter what age..its all about how well you handle the pain and if you're willing to have pain medications. Now the difference that age does on pregnancy and birth is that a younger person usually has more energy and less chances of having a baby with chormosonal defects like down syndrome and what not..but i've heard of older women having healthy pregnancies and having lots of energy as well. As far as stress goes..having a baby will bring stress to any mom no matter what the age. Oh and for blood tests, I've had 3 prenatal appointments and a sonogram done so far and each time they drew blood =/
They take a lot of blood during the first appointment but dont worry about it so much! Its to make sure you and the baby are ok and to test for diseases. Good luck! =]

Well honestly, I can't see the pain being different based on age. That I can recall I had to have blood draw once, and then the I.V. when I actually went to have my baby. Each doctor is different, but I think generally everyone had a sugar test (you drink some yuck stuff and then have your blood tested). I hope that helps a little! Good luck to you!
