The sauce would have been cooked so pretty much ALL the alcohol would have been "cooked out of" the sauce. You shouldn't have anything to worry about.

I agree, with cooking the alcohol is pretty much non existent. It isn't even worth a second thought. :o}

Do you worry about the air you breath : ) Don't worry about condiments.

tinamarie, Not to worry. Chances are if the sauce had wine in it, most if not all of the alcohol content was "cooked" out.

Your baby will be fine...I found out at 5 weeks that I was pregnant and it was my 20th birthday the week before so I had went out ont knowing and was drinking pretty heavily, when I found out I was pregnant I told my doctor that I had drank and she said my baby will be fine she said that alcohol will only affect her if I used alcohol multiple times throught my pregnancy, she said that it was prolonged use that is very dangerous...Although I still feel guilty now at almost 28 weeks even knowing that my baby girl is perfectly fine. A few drops of wine in food though is nothing to sweat.

Don't worry, you're fine. In cooked sauces, the alcohol evaporates out--and even if it didn't, the amount in the sauce is so miniscule, it's not going to do any harm. Truth be told, the likelihood of even a gla__s of wine doing harm is pretty small--the reason they say to avoid ANY alcohol is that there's no way of knowing how much is too much given individual differences in how alcohol is metabolized. So don't sweat it, your baby is OK.
