Anyone Have Any Very Light Spotting

Not everytime I go to the bathroom but I have noticed soemtimes a tiny amount of pink or brown mucus on the toilet paper. I callled doctor about cramping and that and she said to relax....tough to do as like i have posted this didnt happen with my first. I also feel like theres an awlful lot going on down there...lol only 5 weeks but feel like i can feel something moving already crazy!! God bless!!!

Well, if you're only 5 weeks it could be that you have something going on with your cervix. With all the changes it is common for your cervix to become irritated, especially if you have hpv or any type of abnormalities. I'm 36 weeks pregnant and this is my second pregnancy. During my first pregnancy I had a period (light brown/red spotting) for 3 days in my first and second months, I guess this is normal because when I asked the doctor about it they said it was okay. But when my papsmear came back it revlealed that I had hpv and abnormal cells on my cervix. These didn't harm my pregnancy at all, I had an amazing pregnancy and birth! This pregnancy, at 18 weeks I had brown spotting and later I had blood in mucus. I went to the ER and they said that I had a threatened miscarriage due to Placenta Previa. That's when the placenta develops and grows over or near the cervix. I'm okay now, the placenta moved up, but it was really scary.
