Hi ladies, hope you had a good weekend. Nora has a cold. I am so sad. It just came on all of a sudden. We saw the doc and she said to give her nose drops and let it ride out unless the cough gets worse. Yippee, another milestone for Alex. I think Nora's right behind her. She is a wiggle worm! Last night, she wiggled herself to the bottom of the ba__sinet. Her legs were squished up against the bottom. And that's with an incline wedge! Oh by the way, as of Thursday, I've eliminated dairy from my diet. We'll see if that helps with her ga__siness and fussiness.

Hi girls! ••• KRISTINE: So sorry to read that Nora has a cold. Poor Baby. Hope she is feeling better soon. ••••• COOKIE: So sorry to read about your grandmother. That must be very hard for you. Hope Mackenzie is good for you on the flight when time comes to leave for Holland. •••• As for us... Alex has not rolled over since Sunday, so DH really thinks it was just by accident that she was rolling over for those 3 days. =o( Darn. She goes for her wellness appointment aka shots on the 15th. I am looking fwd to see how much she has grown! She doesn't look as chubby any more and seems very long. Any how -- I gotta get back to work. Tomorrow will be a nice relaxing day and no work! Yeah. Talk to you manana!

Hi ladies,
I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother. I hope you have a safe trip. It is good Mackenzie will get to meet her great grandmother. :-)------------------I can't wait to take Nora for swim lessons. I'm a water baby myself. --------Nora's cold has subsided as far as the cough but the congestion is still there. Guess we have to wait it out. I had my 6 week check-up today. I've lost all my pregnancy weight but since I was a little heavy before, I need to lose about 20 more. That should be easy since I hardly find time to eat these days! lol Michelle, how many shots will Alex have to get? I think Nora's are the next appt.

is it possible Kenzie is getting ready to crawl? A few days ago, she flipped herself over, and got up on all fours and started rocking...she didn't go anywhere, but I've never seen her like that before...also she is now a tummy sleeper...no matter how many times I roll her over onto her back (and she always goes down on her back)...she sleeps on her tummy...Kristine, how is the Breast feeding going? Michele, did you ever follow up with the talent agent? happy Monday

Hey girls -- sorry I have been MIA. Life has been so busy lately & I have no idea why! ••••• EJOLA: Sounds like Mackenzie is in the process of learning to crawl. That is what they do before it happens! I'd start baby proofing the house becuase once they are crawling they are all over getting into things they shouldn't. At least that is what my friend tells me about her 7 month old DD who started crawling 1.5 months ago. That is sooo cool though. Alex is a lazy baby.. she only rolls over about once a day and HATES to still be on her tummy. I have heard that big babies are usually late learners of crawling and walking. So we'll see. I say BIG, because I weighed her the other day and she was 18 lbs.... I haven't measuered her, but am a__suming she is around 26-1/2 to 27 inches. She isn't taking after me at all in the weight or height, that is for sure - so I think she will be tall like her daddy. ••••• KRISTINE: So glad to read that Nora is feeling better. Be prepared to cry when she gets her shots. It is very hard to watch them cry from the shots. I make DH come with me because I start crying and he can console Alex. Talking about weight, I still have 7 lbs to lose to get back to pre-pregnancy and then have about 25 to go after that! I am always hungry -- and always try to do the diet thing and then by dinner I have bombed. I also think since I am a 40DD since I got pregnant (Originally a 36D) that is making me heavier too. But that can only be maybe a pound or 2 extra, right. But I do get ma__sive back pain all day long which really sucks! I just feel like I am in always in pain. Whelp, i am still in my pj's must get dressed, TTYL.

Yes, a very special day for us coming up ladies. Sorry been MIA but you know how it is! Had to take Nora back to the pedi office because her belly b___ton started oozing. They had to put some stuff on to dry it up for good. And get this, she is 10 pounds!!! I hope this is normal. She was 9 pounds on May 1st, just last week. I am feeding on both sides like the doc told me. Do you think she's too big? lol------------------I can't believe your girls are almost at crawling stage. That Kenzie is a peanut. :-) Nora is almost her size.

I AM SO SCARED. Nora has petechiae on her right leg. It is broken blood vessels. She does not have a fever but doc wants us to take her in tomorrow for bloodwork. Of course I went online and read horror stories about this rash. She said to call Friday for the results. :-(

omg...I've never heard of that...poor little Nora, what causes it? We are keeping all of you in our prayers...she's a tough little thing I'm sure she will come through this with flying colors...Michele, I can't believe how much Alex is growing...isn't it amazing...dh and I were talking about ttc last night...having the great condom debate..lol...half the time I want to wait until Mack is 1 1/2-2 before ttc again...then a small part of me every once in a while wants to start soon....argh..are these hormones or something?

It can be caused by a virus or she said me rubbing lotion on her leg the night before might have done it if she has sensitive skin. I have sensitive skin so I hope that's what it is. As of today, no fever and she's quite content. We get results tomorrow. Poor little thing cried so hard when they took the blood. It was very quick thank goodness.---------------As for a sibling for Nora, I've contemplated a time frame, (will i do acupuncture again?, will I take the herbal supplements?, etc ) but haven't discussed with DH. I think that conversation can wait a few months. lol

I have been so busy that I haven’t really had time to check the tread and then WHAM! Poor Nora, please let us know what the doctor has to say today! I must say – I never put lotion on Alex… she never seems to have dry skin and since I rarely put lotion on myself (AND I HAVE MAJOR DRY SKIN), I never think about it. I am so allergic to scents and soaps… that I have to sleep every once in awhile with cotton gloves and Vaseline to keep my hands from cracking. I hope it is just from the lotion and nothing more than that. •••• Alex has slowed down on the weight gain. She was 18 lbs last month and stayed the same this month… but is still growing lengthwise though. COOKIE: As for TTC #2 – I am not sure any more. I am so content with Alex that I am not even thinking of #2 – but I am 34 and should be thinking of TTC… but gosh darn – I still have weight to lose and it is hard just with one kid… just can’t imagine 2. When are you leaving for Holland? Hope you have a nice visit with you grandmother even though she isn’t well. I am sure she will appreciate you being there and getting to see Mackenzie. •••••KRISTINE: I have friends and a cousin who had mc’s and / or TTC problems. Be careful – they all didn’t have problems with #2 and some got pregnant right away and weren’t ttc – ended up being accidents because they didn’t think they could get pg without help and freaked out because they felt they were pg too soon! Fuel for thought. ••••• I am getting ready to drive down to my parents on Sunday and will be staying until Wednesday… should be nice. If I don’t talk to you soon. Have a wonderful weekend with your little darlings! Until next time…

Cookie: I hope you have a safe flight tomorrow. You'll be in my thoughts. •••• Kristine: So glad Nora's results came back A-OK! ••• I got a call tonight that my uncle who has cancer probably won't be with us any longer than through Saturday. I am so upset. My Aunt will be cremating (sp) him so that means she will be having the funeral/ceremony around June 8th which means my family will be able to attend. My Dad is originally from northern NJ -- 12 miles outside of NY City. So we are trying to make plane arrangements from CA and NV to fly into JFK on June 6th. I hope Josh can get the time off. Anyhow, I am a little stressed out about the whole situation! Hope all is well on your side of things. Until next time... ~ Michele
