Coming Off The Pill Common Problem

Hello Ladies!
I posted this same issue up under someone elses question but i decided to post it on my own also because I was looking for advice. I hope thats okay!
so, I just came off the pill last month, and my first period was normal. then the day my period was due this month, I had nothing but a brown discharge only when i wiped. This went on for three days. I had one day normal bleed (which was yesterday) and now its over. Theres absolutley nothing. Is this common when coming off the pill? thanks guys!!!! **babydust **

Yep. I had been on the pill for 10 years, when I went off all I got was spotting a couple of times and really no full perod for 3 months. When I did start to get a period again I only got one regular one and then I was pregnant the next month!! So - everyone is different and sometimes it just takes longer for your body to get in a routine again without the hormones in the pill!! Good Luck

My cycles went like this after coming off the pill: 28 days, 27 days, 26 days, 25 days, 25 days, 32 days. My periods are still lighter than they used to be before I went on the pill and they don't last as long (3 days instead of 5) and the cramps are also less. It is different for everyone, I have a friend who went off the pill and just stayed on the 28 day cycle. So my advice is to just be patient and chart everything. Good luck!
