My boyfriend and I have been going together for 3 months, We only had unprotected s_x like about 4 times every since our relationship, lately I've been recognizing brown spotting and my last period was last month on the 3rd and today is the 3rd but I'm going to wait 5 more days to find out. for me to recognize brown spotting I was wondering, is it a possibility that I am?? someone please respond because I need to know????

Hi, this is more of a question....I've been on the pill since Oct 2004, and got married in Dec. My periods have been very normal and on time. In January I got tosilitis, and we were warned that the antibiotics reduced the effectiveness of the pill, and for the rest of the month we were supposed to use an additional method of protection. Most of the time we did, but a few times we forgot. I don't normally start my period until the 13 but no later than the 15 to start. Yesterday I thought I started my period, it started pink, and by the end of day was almost dry again, though normal through the middle day. Now today, it's been completely dry except pink and brown this morning. I've also noticed other signs. Last night I had a huge mood swing, not like any before, I got mad and snappy and then cried off and on for the rest of the night, apologizing to my husband. About a week and a half ago my b___sts were more sensitive than normal, and while I haven't thrown up, I keep burping, and swallowing stuff back down, even drinks! It's Feb 3,05....if I'm getting the brown discharge, is it too early to take a pregnancy test? I'm really freaked out, because I don't want to take the pill if I'm pregnant. It's driving me nuts to wait until my next period, it's almost two weeks away! Someone please help!

It depends on how long your cycle is. Remember your first day of your cycle starts counting, the first day you bleed and goes until your next month's period starts. Ok, so with a 29 day cycle (the medical average) a woman would be fertile on day 14. With a 30 day cycle a woman would be fertile (count 14 days back) on day 16. Now you can be fertile three days before or after the day you would expect to be fertile. So, with a 30 day cycle you could be fertile from day 13 to day 19. Does that help. So I need to know how long your cycle is!!!!!
