I'm only 10 weeks and I know I have plenty of time to think this one through, but I teach school and I'm due at the end of September. I have to work next year because my husbands income won't cover expenses. So I have to maternity leave and be back to work. Any ideas on child care? What should I think about paying? Helpful hints?

I paid 208 a week out on town, the range I could find was between 150 a week to 238 a week... I recently got her in our daycare on base (I'm govt service) for 108. a week, and they provide formula... when you are looking try to find one that provides the formula - most wont, and you have to factor that cost in as well... you also have to provide the diapers and wipes in the daycares I looked at... good luck, I have had Wren in daycare since she was 6 wks - she's 3 months now and thriving..

I getting daycare a__sistance from the government. Instead of paying $150 or more a week I'll only be paying around $20 a week and I can still choose just about any daycare I want. If you can afford to pay out that much than that is fine but I think it is ridiculous to pay that much when help if available. Im a single parent on a tight budget so I obviously couldn't afford it. I say explore your options.
