I have heard that between the age of 20-35 is the best age to get pregnant. However my mother-in-law just had a baby and she is 44. You are never financially ready for a baby unless you are wealthy but there is a point in being prepared for it. Saving money, see about a job that might cover all or most of delivery expenses etc...

i guess there really isn't a "best age" to get pregnant, it depends on more then the #, it depends on security, financially, and emotionally, and maturity, which can vary considerably, from person to person. if you are 21, and have everything going for you, a loving partner, enough $$, and are willing to give up the party life, and settle in with a baby, then go for it. if not, wait awhile. heck you got time girl! good luck with whatever you decide! ((hugs))

the last post told you everything.I am so pleased that we waited many yrs before I finally said ok.I was able to develop with my partner, see the world with him,get to really, fully understand each other, our values etc,put up with people keeping on asking when we were getting married, when we were having a baby, watching others around us,split up,now finally knowing that we will never split, never. We have a strong grown up bond that has taken yrs to build,a great foundation for a baby.
