I know miracles do happen but can one get pregnant after being on the pills for over 7 yrs straight? I do want a have baby but my boyfriend wants us to wait a little while longer. Sometime however, I hope I could get pregnant because I am ready. What are the probabilities of that happening? Another thing, I just had my period and I am in my second week of my pills and I realize I am having a light discharge what does that mean?

Go to your gynecologist and ask him all of these questions. You are not going to get reliable medical advice on a forum. People are very helpful, but you have medical questions that need to be addressed by a doctor.

I was reading in a health handbook from kaiser that 5 out of 100 people get pregnant while on the pill over the course of a year. Hope i helped.
