hi everyone...ok so here is my situation. i am 20 and will be 21 in october. my bf is 27 will be 28 soon. we both want to try for a baby. i know that this should be all our decision but because of the fact that we are not yet engaged or married i am afraid if i do become pregnant my family will be upset. we are planning on getting married but just not right now. has anyone else been in this situation? ?

kinda similar situation. me & my fiance are 21 and about to finish college. we're not getting married until next june but we want to start a family already. i'm kinda worried about what our families would think if they knew we were on/off ttc. i think that if it's something you both really want (seriously) then go ahead. and if you happen to get pregnant then you could always get engaged before showing, right?

yea that is true...i guess i am just thinking things will figure themselves out but i know we just need to make the decision!

i say if you are both ready then go for it! but i hear ya...i'm struggling too with the decision of whether or not i want to try now or wait a few months. i guess i'll just let things happen as they're meant to : )

Having a baby is a HUGE decision!!! Never let anyone make it for you. It should be between you and your man. If you are going to let family get involved with the decision To TTC then what else will you allow between the two of you. I am 21 will be 22 in Oct. TTC with my fiance. My family will probably be upset as well, but he and I both want to start a family, now. t doesn't matter what everyone else wants.

you can get engaged just becuase your engaged doesnt force you to get married right away , get engaged and if u get preggo then it doesnt really matter and get married later on
