My 8 almost 9 week old used to poop 2-4 times a day and he hasn't pooped since Wed night. I told the dr. and he said not to worry unless he's uncomfortable. He does seem on and off uncomf. today, but not too bad. I tried the thermometer and might go get glycerin suppositories later. Any advice - thanks :)

Have you started him on formula? Formula causes constipation. I would not use a suppository unless directed to by your doc. If used too much then babies will need to use them all the time. If you started him on formula it is better to let his system adjust to the change. If not you could eat high fiber foods which will help his problem.

thanks - the dr. told me to do a small supp. if he hadn't pooped by day 5 or so. He has never had formula but good thought. thanks !
