First Period Or Strange Discharge Sorry If TMI

Blake is 6 months old. Today after peeing I noticed some light pinkish dishcharge on the toilet paper. But next time, there was nothing. No cramps, nothing feels out of the usual. Do you think this might be the onset of my first period? The only reason I am so curious is because the only other time I have seen discharge like this was when I found out I was pregnant. But I can't be pregnant, I have the Paraguard.

out of curiousity what's paraguard? is it a pill or a diaphram? what?
