I'm 1.5 wks post-pregnacy and have started pumping and freezing milk but I'm getting two sides to how long it can be stored. Some of my books say 6 months in a deep freeze and some say 3 months in a regular freezer. What's the difference??? And why is some of my milk that's frozen really yellow looking and some is almost white looking? It's only a day older than the other. Is something wrong with it? How long can I keep it in the freezer of a standard fridge/freezer?

I also read that you can store b___st milk for 6 months in a deep freezer. Less for a fridge/freezer because you open it more and the temperature isn't as consistant. Your b___st milk is probably different colours drpending on what you have eaten. My milk varies. All with a yellowish tinge once frozen.
