starting with a low dose will help you watch for any side effects. be very honest with your doctor, especially if you have troubles. any time you start a new medication there is a risk, it doesn't matter if it's antidepressants or antibiotics. in this case, the possible benifits out weigh the possible risk. and whatever you are feeling is not nessiarily what the baby is feeling. the transmission of zoloft to b___stmilk is LOW. so long as you and your doctor keep track of your progress your baby will be fine. good luck to you, it's time to start feeling better. :0)

i had a little fatigue when i first started taking zoloft, but feeling a little tired is a lot better than feeling alot depressed. don't worry about the side effects, you will be fine and so will your baby. before you know it, you will start feeling better and it will all be worthwhile. good luck and let us know how your feeling in a few weeks.
