Medela Starter Kit

I got a Medela Starter Kit (it has the hoses, shields, collection containers, etc) at the hospital that you can use with a Medela Lactina and Classic rental pumps. Does anyone know if that would work with a PIS if I was to borrow a friend's?

Yep it does. I got the starter kit too for the Lactina pump at the hospital and ended up buying a used PIS and decided to use my kit instead of the used one. The only thing I had to do was clip those plastic deals off the hoses cus the PIS you just slip the hoses over two nozzles and the Lactina they snapped into it with the plastic deals so just snip them off with a scissors and that's it!! Everything else was the same as the used stuff that came with mine. It's all universal.

Thanks for the answer! Unfortunately, the pump I wanted to borrow is broken, but maybe I can ask around and see if anyone else has one.

Go to a used childrens store like Once Upon a Child or somewhere in your area. I got mine Medela PIS for $79 and it works great and everything came with it. It looked like it was barely used.

I'll check it out. There is one not too far from here. Thanks.
