I have developed severe muscle pain in my hip. The doctor thinks I either have piriformis syndrome or inflammation of the bursal sac (bursitis). So she prescribed a higher does of Motrin and a muscle relaxant (Flexiril). I obviously don't want to take the muscle relaxant when I need to get up at night as it will make me drowsy, but my baby is away for a night and I plan on pumping. Should I throw away the milk I pump or will the amount excreted in the milk be insignificant enough? She prescribed 10 mg tablets.
