I am 12 weeks and have both nipples pierced. I know i need to take them out soon but once they are out, will this have a major effect on br___tfeeding? Anyone been in this situation before?

I had both nipples pierced for years prior to getting pregnant. I took them out as soon as I found out. I am successfully b___stfeeding and don't believe the piercings had any effect. Good luck!

i had both my nipples pierced about 5 years ago. I had scar tissue on both and was told I would not be able to b___stfeed....well I have enough milk for twins, and b___stfeeding fine!! Good Luck!

I would take them out asap as you don't want the gunk that comes out of the holes when its healing/closing over to be eaten by your bubs.

Why would anyone tell you you couldn't b___stfeed if they really didn't know. Obviously people here are able to do it with no problem.

i had my nipples pierced and i took them out about 20-25 weeks pregnant and i am due in 9 days now and i have this scaring where they were pierced and they still have junk coming out of them. i took them out b/c they were hurting and now i am not sure if i will be able to b___stfeed i also had a b___st reduction. good luck
