Painful Nipples When Pregnant

I am 18 weeks pregnant. When I was about 8 weeks pregnant I got a terrible pain in my left nipple. It felt like my nipple was in a vice. The only way I could relieve the pain was by taking a hot shower, letting the hot water run directly on my nipple. I have never experienced this before. Come to find out there is a name for this. It is called Raynaud's Phenomenon. I was already told I had this disease by my doctor years ago. Symptoms are very cold hands and feet. In the winter I can't do anything without gloves. Even indoors, if it is the slightest bit of cold on my hands and they literaly freeze. It's terrible. My doctor says the vessels constrict in the cold and the lack of oxygen causes pain. Well, the same thing happens in your br___t. So for all you women out there that get severe nipple pain, mostly in only one nipple when br___t feeding, or even before giving birth, you might have Raynauds Phenomenon. Doctors usually/mostly confuse it with a yeast infection of the nipple called candida albicans.
