How much on an adverage are you guys pumping? I only get a small amount and I want to start my daughter on a bottle but I am afraid I don't pump enough milk.

the first few times i pumped i didnt get much, only an ounce or two but if you keep pumping and nusring and drink pleny of fluids you will sooner or later get 4-6 oz at a time pumpeing maybe even more

Exclusively pumping I only was able to pump 16 hours a day max and over the weeks I have been decreasing. I'm about to give up.

She is 3 weeks. I don't think my milk ever fully came in. If I get an once thats a good pump for me. Is it possible if I pump every hour to still increase my supply? I am so frustrated and I don't want to use formula if I can avoid it.

Try drinking a lot of water, and taking either fenugreek or blessed thistle to increase your supply.

make sure to get enough rest too. any little stress can limit the supply big time

How long would it take to pump 4oz?

one or two ounces is actually not bad this early on. make sure you are getting enough calories, 2200 at LEAST. some people say oatmeal helps increase supply but i cant say for sure, hey, it's worth a try right? try pumping from one side while feeding baby from the other; you might not be letting down enough to get a decent pumping session. if all else fails, try a different pump. HTH!

most get it within 10 min, i did after 1 hour
