Okay, it's disturbing for 13 year olds to have babies, but no, if it's her own child, I don't think it would be sick. Do you honestly think it wouldn't be a little off for a 13 year old to be b___stfeeding her sister?! (I know she's 18, but you brought this to question) 13 is middle school for gods sake, they're just going thru puberty.

what have you decided to do? I know that I, like Jamie, would also be more than happy to have someone nurse my daughter for me if I couldn't. The issue here shouldn't be about what is best for our own comfort levels (to those who view this as disgusting - after all, humans have been nurse maids before), but what is best for the baby. Breastmilk is best. I wouldn't want my little one drinking formula especially not after all I've researched about it. Praise God it's there for women who NEED it, but babies should have the right to receive b___st milk... after all, it's the only milk truly made just for them.

Marry- I just wanted to say that I don't think it's sick at all. A little strange in our society, BUT, b___stmilk is the best for baby, so I think you should do whatever YOU want to do- whatever is right for YOU and your daughter. I know there are medications, (reglan and domperidone which can be purchased overseas without a Rx) and pumping several times a day with a hospital grade pump, taking fenugreek, blessed thistle, nettle, and alfalfa can help increase supply too, so.... Good luck to you in what you have chosen/choose to do! Tara
