Used Pump Price

I just bought a Medela In Style pump at a used children's store for $79.00. It had the original box and everything was in it and it's in mint shape. Is this a good buy? I know I bought one model down from Target for $130 and took it back because it wasn't good for working moms.

Yep, I'd say that's a good price for it.

I am not sure about the type of pump you bought, but Ive read that you are not supposed to use a used pump, unless its the Medela Lactina that is rented and has been cleaned by the hospital with their special cleaning machine. If it is one that can be used by multiple people sounds like a good buy to me. I have had to rent one from the hospital due to low milk supply(I needed the hospital grade type, the only one medela has is the Lactina) and I pay about $35/month. So yours will be much cheaper in the long run. But I would defintley ask about using it since someone else already has.

I bought a Medela in Style electric pump at a yard sale for $30. It works great, it hadn't been used in 2 years, and everything was sterlize-able. I boiled every piece except the power cord. So even though you're not supposed to use someone else's pump, I think if you sterilize it good it's fine. (If I were to buy mine new it's still about $250)
