Hi everyone. My baby is 3 weeks old on wednesday and br___t feeding has been a nightmare for me. At first I got a cracked and bleeding nipple and now I have a yeast infection on the nipples and she has thrush. Anyone know how to ease the pain of yeasty nipples?

Try to get a hold of Dr. Newmans all purpose nipple cream from your pharmacist. There is also a regimin of natural supplements (garlic, acidophilis, grapefruit seed extract) for curing yeast. I just did this and it seems to have worked. I think all of this info can be found on www.kellymom.com. There is a ton of info about thrush there. Go to b___stfeeding > common b___stfeeding concerns > thrush. Good luck!
