Bad Head Cold While Nursing

I have a really bad head cold which is plugging up all my sinuses, & I feel just awful. I'm br___tfeeding my 2 month old son & I'm worried I've given him my cold because he has started sneezing tons & coughing a little bit too. I'm just wondering if anyone knows if there is anything I can take to help get rid of the cold or relieve symtoms that is safe while br___tfeeding, & should I take my son to the doctor if he does have a cold, he's only 2 months so I'm kind of worried.

I have a 3 month old that got ME sick. I called the doc and they told me that sudafed and similar drugs can dry up your milk. It is safe to use cough drops and there were some other meds they told me but none of them were familiar so I don't remember them. YES you should tak him to the doc because he could develop an ear infection and you wouln't necesarily know it - you don't want him to damage his hearing. Good luck and feel better soon!
