GO TO WWW.QUALITYMEDICALSUPPLIES.COM I FOUND THAT THIS IS THE CHEAPEST SITE FOR BREAST PUMPS AT LEAST $50 OR MORE OFF. ALSO THEY SHIP TO YOU QUICK I GOT MINE IN 2 DAYS FOR NO SHIPPING CHARGES. I GOT THE PURELY YOURS BY AMEDA AND I LOVE IT. I STILL DONT GET A TON BUT IT TAKES WAY LESS TIME THAN MY WALMART PUMP AND MY ADVENT. IF I AM REALLY FULL I CAN GET 3 OZ ON EACH SIDE IN 10 MIN. DURING THE DAY THOUGH WHEN MY BABY IS EATING EVERY 20 MIN I ONLY GET .5-1 OZ IN 10 MIN. LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK.

I MENT TO SAY EVERY 2 HOURS NOT EVERY 20 MIN

If you need to increase your supply I would recommend renting one from a hospital or lactation consultant. Medela makes great pumps, but they don't always do the trick.

I love my Madela Pump in Style. I only pump twice per day and I get about 14 oz. total per day. I didn't pump regularly until my son was 6 weeks and I had a good supply going from him.

I think you should get the medela pump. I think it is worth the money. I have one and it works perfectly it's fast and easy.

Which Madela is the best? I just bought one at Target and got it home and it's a double for $130 and it says for "occa__sional" pumping. I want to be able to keep up when I go back to work. It says on the box to check into the hospital grade ones for this much pumping. I haven't opened it yet or broke the seal on the box so I might take it back. Any opinions?

if you want to use the pump on a daily use, send that one back. it states on target's website that it's not intended for daily use. if you only want to pump for other reasons, such as wanting to go out for an evening, then it's fine for you...but you say you need it for going back to work, and i would bring it back and get another one...of higher grade.

to Heidi and Suzanne...I have bought 3 pumps now and my daughter is 2 weeks old today. The evenflo one broke after 5 days and I bought the single pump Medela. I wasn't getting enough milk to I bought the pump in style by Medela ($250) and it was so worth it!!! I have taken the single pump in the car if I am out long but I love the pump in style. I tried nursing but that takes about 45 minutes at the least and it seemed like all I was doing was nursing. I didn't want to give her formula so I am pumping because these feeding times take 10 minutes. I pump 3 times a day and get at least 10 ounces per session. I only store it for up to 36 hours because I get worried and I boil everything! (it's my first :-) )Good Luck

I have used a manual medela pump wtih both kids for daily pumping with no problems and got plemty of milk. Everone is different, though.

Thanks for the info. I'm taking mine back and going to the hospital today and renting one instead. I'm not sure what they're going to give me but she said it will work for going back to work full time. My sister has the in-style and said she loves hers too. Thanks!

I used the top of the line medela. It was worth it. It was a dual pump and a strong pump so it did not take hours to get anough milk for my baby for daycare the next day.
