I've been br___tfeeding a wk and a half and I'm exhausted. I only planned to br___tfeed about 2 weeks anyway, so I'm beginning to suppliment formula and pumping and bottlefeeding him br___tmilk also. I'm using carnation goodstart and wonder if that is a good formula or which formula may be good. The Dr just said start them on infamil, but his stomach really didn't react well to that one so the good start has been good for the past 2 days, but I just wondered what other people are using for newborns. Thanks.

I don't know bc I am exclusively bf my son. There are a couple of women who do both formula and bf on this forum, but you may get a better response to this question on Infant Care. Good luck!

I tried Similac and it also seemed like it upset his tummy. This was a long time ago and it could have just been because he was ga__sy anyway. I switched to Goodstart and I haven't had any problems so I stuck with it. Will you continue to do both? I have done that and it works great for me. I think if I were a stay at home mom I'd b___stfeed and pump only. I had only planned to b___stfeed for six weeks but I figured I'd at least pump as long as I could. It's worked out well for me/us for the past 8 months.
