Nursing 1 While Pregnant With 2 Ideas

I just found out I am pregnant, and I'm still nursing my son, who is 18 months old. Sometimes my br___ts are sore, but not too bad... are there any other concerns about this? Has anyone had this experience? I was thinking about weaning around 2, but some things I've read say that by continuing to nurse both (called tandem nursing), it allows #1 to feel connected, and less of a loss as the new baby arrives on the scene. Any comments are appreciated.

it's pretty common. i know many tandem nursers, alot of them say that their older child self weaned during pregnancy becasue they didn't like the change in flavor brought on by pregnancy, then started back up once the baby came. i say as long as your both happy keep with it! you'll need to watch your nutrition closely, but other than that you should be fine.
