Hello everyone, I'm 5wks pregnant with my fourth baby and when I had my 3rd, doct. told me that I have a very thin uterus and that I wouldn't be able to carry the baby full term.
I'm considering abortion becuase of the risks involved.
Please, anyone, do you have any more info.
I'm going to get a 2nd doct. opinion today.

I'm sorry i don't have any advice for you, but i think a second opinion is a good idea. Is it thin b/c of a c-section? I hope everything works out for you.

Hi there, Be sure to get a second opinion from a Fetal medicine specialist not just a regular OB. they are much more qualified and know so much more to help you. It would be awful to abort a baby that need not be. Pls let us know what happens.

Hey I was told something very similar after I had my 2nd baby, i had a very thin uterine scar, less than 2mm and more than likely would not caryr another child to term. while i had 2 more, yup thats right I had number 4 at the end of May. the funny thing was I had bleeding, cramping, and backpain and lot of scary stuff but I carried him till 38 1/2 weeks. when i had my 3rd my dr told me to definatly NOT have nymore children as he could see my uterine scar and told me my baby had hair before he delivered her. I have actually been pregnant 5 times I have had 4 csections and my childrn range in age from 6 years old- 6 months. Very close pregnancies. you just have to be monitered closely and watch out for sign of tearing, other than that you should be just fine! Its hard but its worth it in the end :)
