I'm just curious as to how many ladies have had both a c-section and va___al birth? and what their outcome was. I had a c-section , and i would like to try a va___al birth ... altho im scared and dont know if i want to go thru another different kind of pain.
Anyone had both va___al and a section?

hi babygirl. I am trying for a VBAC too! I 'm not due until January though. My doctor didn't really seem like it was such a big thing. He is going to be there the entire time I am in labor and the hospital I am having the baby at monitors you very well when trying for a VBAC. I am scared too I have to admit but I am going to give it a try. I was in labor 32 hours with my ds and then had to have a c-section because he was face up and in the wrong position. Also and really good frined of mine works in the labor/delivery at the hospital so I got to ask her how the hospital and success was.

My sister had 3 v____al births (rough, but ok) and one c-section. She definately thought the c-section was the rougher birth. I could only birth via c-section so I personally don't know. But if I didn't have a juvenile pelvis, I would most certainly have tried a VBAC. Good luck.

I have had 3 v____al births and on the 11th of this month i had a csection because my baby was breach. Actual delivery pain...I would opt for a csection anyday! Recovery pain...well obviously csection takes longer, so i would opt for v____al. To be completely honest, neither is easy or less painful...it is a different kind of pain, but pain is pain especially when its alot of it! You can have pain meds with a v____al birth as well, but u still feel it. The best advise i can give you is to discuss with your dr. about the pros and cons of both and try to make an informed decision. I know there are more complications with csections, but if you have already had one, it might be a safer option, depending on the reason you had one before. Like I said neither is easy or without pain, so if it were me, i would just try to do what would be best for baby...and i am sure your dr will let you know what that is. Good luck to you
