I'm 371/2 weeks & just found out my baby is breech. I have an aversion scheduled for Tuesday but am I better off just having a c-section instead?

is your baby feet first or b___t first. My daughter was b___t first therefore there was no turning her. I was concerned because turning the baby is dangerous. I would deliver natural if at all possible, women do it everyday. If she was feet first that was the route I was taking.

My last two pregnancies were tranverse breech. They tried an aversion both times....both times failed and I still had to do a c-section. I told my doctor, not this time...no more aversions for me. Doing an aversion HHHHUUUUUURRRRRRRRTTTTTTTSSSSSS. The doctor and nurse puts gel on your tummy, look at the ultrasound to see where the baby is currently located, then they put their hands on your tummy, tell you to take a DEEEEPPPP breathe and exhale while everyone if trying to turn the baby by pushing the outside of your tummy. Then they let you catch your breathe and try again. It's like a long skin burn to me.....

Oh yeah, since there is less room in the uterus during the last few weeks, during my c-section, the doctor said that it was a good thing that the aversion wasn't successful (the first one) because the umbilical cord was wrapped around her neck TWICE. If the aversion was successful, she would have been strangled to death.

My first son was breech and also a big baby ( we didnt know untill later) but my doctor who has been an OB for 20some years wouldnt even try to turn. After doing my research i figured out why and even if he had wanted to try I WOULD NOT have let him. I am now on my 3rd pregnancy and the past 2 were c section.
