Hi, How long ago was your last csection? Mine was last May and I am currently 6 months pregnant and I have had some burning and incision tenderness, but the doctor told me that where my outer scar is, is not where the internal scar is. I was told not to worry about it, but I was worried enough to have it checked out, Definatly talk to your doctor. They will probably rea__sure you! Hope all goes well,,, grace

When I read this post, I had a flashback of that same thing...and I had forgotten all about it! I think it's from rubbing on your clothing and a growing tummy.

I have the same thing and my doctor said it was due to the volume of blood that the body is pumping and the scar tissue that now surrounds your incision area.. He said it was nothing to worry about, but I would talk to my doctor about it if you're concerned it might be something more serious; better safe than sorry.

I am 22 weeks and have had the same thing going on for a while but it is not frequent and doesn't last long. Every once in a while I'll cringe because it feels like I'm being stabbed or the incision is being ripped open. My mom has the same incision from a hysterectomy almost 10 years ago and to this day it will get red and irritated every once in a while. It was funny when I had my c-section, her scar flared up like she was having sympathy sympoms.

Its your scar tissue streching as your tummy grows, I am pregnant with my 3rd child and have had 2 c/sections (this will be a 3rd) and had the same problem from around 20 weeks with baby no2 and the doctor told me it was normal...I am 14 weeks and have started to get a sudden burning sensation or sharp pain when I cough or sit up suddenly, again was told this was normal, Good luck
