I really wouldn't worry about it, i'm sure you'll do fine. Your pelvis will spread during delivery to allow the baby to pa__s. I would just have the doctor's monitor how large the baby is getting. If it looks like you're going to have a 9lb baby, it probably won't fit easily.. but otherwise, don't worry. I know women who had children at 15 drug-free.. get yourself an epidural and you'll do great!

Unless it's your doctor saying it, don't worry. It's amazing how many people decide they're experts on pregnancy, and want to share their advice. I've been told so many stupid things...I was told not to go outside on a night with a full moon and thunderstorms or I'd go into labor, I was told to drink a lot of water or my baby wouldn't like water once she was born, I've been told by several people that I must be having twins because I'm so big, when I know I'm not having twins. Anyhow, don't listen to what people tell you, no one really knows what's going on with your body and your baby except you and your doctor.

My friend is 4'11 and 90lbs. She had both her babies v____ally without problems. I had to have a c-section (not because of size - the baby was breech) and my recovery was better then most I know who had v____al births. Don't worry either way you'll be fine. Good luck!

I want you to know that I totally agree with these other women. A lot of people will want to be "experts" when it comes to you and your baby. My advice: listen to the Real experts first! Your doctor's whole goal is to see you and your baby through this in optimum health. He or she won't just overlook something as important as how you'll deliver! I'm fairly small myself (a size four) and I only gained 24 pounds when I was pregnant. I even wore some of my more stretch, regular (very low rise) pants up until I delivered. When I brought the same question up with my doctors, they said my pelvis bones would spread--kind of float apart more as my pregnancy progressed (not that I ever physically saw this transformation). SO I did try to delivery v____ally, but my baby was overdue, so she had meconium staining (that's when the baby has their first bowel movement before they come out). Because she was a meconium baby the doctor needed to do a C-section, even though my pushing had been going very well (my husband could see the top of her head crowning). I tell you all this to a__sure you that from my personal experience a narrow hipped woman can have a v____al birth and also that a C-section will be done if your doctor thinks that is what is best. My baby came out perfect and I'm now 5 weeks post partum and wearing a size 6 only because my incision is still sensitive in more fitted clothes. By the way I recommend getting an epidural also. It makes a world of a difference and getting the epidural started hurt less than the IV drip! Best wishes...
