Massaging Scar After C Section

Hi,
Has anybody heard about massaging scar immediately following C Section?? Apparently it helps avoiding abdominal pain and back pain following C Section. Does anybody have further information please? Any other method to get rid of numbness and tenderness around the scar?

I don't see how that would be possible. It's an open wound that has been stapled or sewn shut. I have had 2 c-sections and the last thing I would ever do is touch them.
