So, I listed this on baby care too, but it's 9 months after my c section and today I passed what (after reading up things on the internet) that sounds like a mucus plug. I don't ever remember passing it. how does it work with a c section? I am wondering if, after all this time, because I am finally getting a period that it comes out? All that I read about is losing it as a sign of labor...but I was never in labor. I had to have a c section because my daughter was breech.

Well, I lost my mucous plug while in labor with my first. The next two were scheduled c-sections and until I just read your post I realized I have no idea when I lost them!?! I don't remember pa__sing anything at all after my c-sections!
