Is it possible for a woman to request that a plastic surgeon suture the abdominal incision closed instead of the Ob/Gyn Physician?

I highly doubt that your insurance would cover that and the hosp. wouldn't take the liability anyway b/c presumably the plastic surgeon wouldn't work for the hosp.

The scar heals nearly invisible, anyhow. It's done where your body creases naturally, and even with the staples I had I couldn't see my scar after about four months.
