I am having a c-section on in 1 week, personal choice, my first c-section although this is my second child, first was a va___al delivery. I had my first child 7 years ago and I had a tummy tuck about 3 years ago. I am young, I had my son when I was 18, so I knew I would have more children but I was very self-conscience about the terrible stretch marks and extra skin my son left, so I went ahead with a tummy tuck when I was about 21 or so. Of course with this pregnancy the stretch marks came back, worse than ever, the pregnancy has been painful because of the fact that the muscles are st_tched SO tight during surgery and the skin is very tight as well. My OB says putting me back together during a c-section will be like putting humpty dumpty back together since Ive had a tummy tuck. I wonder why this would be? Anyway, it is very difficult for me to find info about this particular situation.... obviously... was wondering if any of you ladies have encountered the same thing???
