I have a 5 month old son and just found out that I am pregnant again. I am really excited but a lot nervous. I am still not fully healed from my c-section. I have dull pains almost every day and am still numb (which is normal). I am just scared that something is going to go wrong because I don't feel as though I am fully healed. I am terrified of a uterine rupture!

Allicat, first, congrats! I had my four c-sections in exactly 4 years to the day + 4 hours. My first two sections were 11 months apart. I was worried and they weren't happy, especially when I kept having one a year, but I am here! Do you have to have another c-section? You will be monitored closely and will be told the signs of uterine rupture, so pay attention to your body in the 2nd and 3rd tri. Most moms do fine! I did have some problems, especially with bleeding during the c-sections, but just take it easy, and listen to your doc.

Congratulations! My two are 16 months apart. #1 was an emergency c-section, and #2 was planned. It was night and day how different they were. My second section was a breeze and the pregnancy was normal. yes there was numbness and some dull pains during pregnancy but it was worth it because my ds is sure a cutie. congratulations again and don't worry so much, the doctors will monitor any problems. Just keep your regular appointments. The excitement and nervous feelings seemed to go up and down all through the pregnancy for me, just stay healthy and try to rest when you get a moment.
