When i had my stomach surgery i had an epi for 3 days. On the third day i complained that i could feel my legs and they hurt. The nurse checked my epi and found that it was half out. My body was rejecting it. I know from a csection its not left in that long but anyone have problems with it not working? And what is the difference between a spinal and a epi?

I have had a spinal and ever since then I have had lower back pain. Does anyone else have or had that problem? Does it go away? I have been exercising and I'm not sure if that is making it better or worse. I may be doing sit-ups incorrectly, but I don't remember my back hurting this long becuse of sit-ups. Any suggestions......is there hope of this pain going away?

This is for LYNN! You need to get an MRI of your back. You probably had a disc collapse in your back pinching the Sciatic nerve that runs down your legs. This will cause severe leg and/or back pain. My first c-section caused mine to collapse. With treatment the disc can move back into place. X-rays won't show the nerve being pinched by the disc.

Wow, that is kinda scarry, but hopful none the less. I just had some chirpractic work done w/x-ray (which didn't really show too much (I was suprised because of the pain. Anyway, I felt worse afer the treatment (the adjustments), I don't have any leg pain at all. Thank you for your response!

Sorry, Jennifer. I wrote your name in the wrong spot. I was responding to your response and put your name instead of mine.
