How long did you wait to ttc after you had a c-section? I had a classical c-section in the early part of july and just found on monday, 26 sept, I'm pregnant again. I am going to talk to my doctor about this but I think I might loss this one also.

Are you having bleeding that makes you suspect you will lose the baby, or just worried b/c it's coming so soon after your C? I didn't have mine that close, but I got pregnant with my 3rd when my 2nd was 8 months old (I've had all C's)- and everything was fine. I know a few ppl who have kids 11-12 months apart and all was fine, but they aren't c-sections moms. Anyway, if you talk to your doctor, they can probably set you up with an u/s so you can see your baby's heartbeat and be rea__sured. Hope all is well...

No bleeding or anything unusual. Just being paranoid! I don’t feel any pain, except a mild cramping like sensation but I had that my first pregnancy. Thanks

I got pregnant when my dd was 7 months old. No problems so far and I am 28 weeks along. I have heard lots of success stories with a shorter conception time so don't worry too much, your doctor can rea__sure you. Good luck.

I got preggo with my second 5 months after my first csection and have a healthy happy 10 week old girl. My son is 16 months old now. I have heard of csection moms delivering about a year apart (brittney spears just did it I believe) Most likely you will be fine, but you will probably have to have another csection. I didnt have any pain at my incision while pregnant with my daughter. It was my biggest fear that my uterus would rupture, but during the second csection my doctor said I could probably have 2 more if I wanted to. I remember asking my doctor alot of questions about how things looked during my first csection when I found out I was preg again. You might want to make sure everthing was normal, and if so , I dont think you need to worry about anything except all the normal preggo worries. good luck to you and your little one!

I got pregnant almost 3 months after mine.

I had 4 c-sections in exactly 4 years to the day. That is too many too soon but I am here to talk about it. I do not advise having c's so close together or that many for I had/have complications. But since you had a cla__sical incision you are not a good candidate for VBAC. The hardest part (besides having surgery) is that you have another baby at home and it was very hard to deal with healing at times and caring for them so have lots of help at home. Best wishes for a safe delivery and a healthy baby.

mybabylove, just curious - how did your pregnancy go? i also had a cla__sical c-section (although low transverse incision on my uterus) last Oct and am ttc again.

My ex SIL had two babies by csection about 11 months apart and she did get a bad infection but that was the worst thing that happened to her, completly treatable. For me I have had 3 csections each one about 21 months apart and I am due for my fourth but because of me being high risk I might ask to be put asleep for this delivery im not sure yet.

My son is 7 months and born by c-section and I want to have another baby. I think that it's fine as long as you are very healthy. I think the doctors are more worried about iron levels and stuff like that. Babies take everything.

Had a c section 15 months ago, now ttc. Have concerns about fertility and implantation problems due to scarring. How long did it take you? Any problems?

o0LiLy0o - June 27

As long as you are healthy then you should be fine. Usually ppl that are very unhealthy are the ones with the problems. Just make sure you go to all your doctor appointments and ultrasounds. Thats all. I'm guessing you should try not to be over worked and stuff. Meaning don't stress your body out with your other baby.

shedmonds... I got pregnant with my 3rd child when my 2nd was only 8 months old (and my oldest was 4). I had already had 2 c-sections and was a little concerned about having a 3rd c-section so soon after the 2nd, but it went very well :-)

mybabylove-- just wondering if you could give an update? I too had a cla__sical c-section and I am looking to get pregnant again as soon as possible. I had an emergency c-section at 25 weeks and lost my baby after only two days My husband and I want to try again so badly, but I don't want to get preganant too soon. I just don't know how long I can wait to try again.

flcutie, I am sorry for your loss. I am happy that you have the courage to ttc again ASAP. If your body is fine you can do it ASAP. I conceived my baby (9 months now) a month after a csection to rectfy a problem in the tubes. I one big cut and a small one, 10 months later september 2006. I conceived my baby through c-section. You can see the time 2 csections in 10 months. I felt fine two months after the birth of the baby. Good luck

You ladies that had vertical c-section, How did your next pregnancy go and how soon did you get pregnant? It is so hard to find information on pregnancy after a vertical/cla__sical c-section. I had an emergency vertical c-section 6 1/2 weeks ago, lost our twin boys. We want to desperately try again, Dr. wants us to wait at least 9 months. We want to wait 3 months.
