Malena, has the adhesion pain caused any problem in your pregnancies? Sorry to hear that you are suffering everyday. I am trying something different for my adhesion. I have been taken herbs in the past 5 weeks. The doctor told me my adhesion is due to uterus infection develops slowly and old blood was clotted up. The herb suppose to cure adhesion, but I still don't feel that much difference. I will keep you posted.

Linda, I was just at OB/GYN today & asked that he check for adhesions/etc once I have my third baby via C-section in Dec/Jan. He said he would because of all the pain I've still been having. For me, it doesn't go away when I'm pregnant unfortunately. I'm actually in a bit more pain, because I refuse to take any meds except thyroid medication while pregnant. I'm okay with that, because I want to give my baby the best possible start in life.

HI I wrote a few days ago, having same pain and new at this...I had a repeat csection and a tubal ligation. Can I ask how long you all bled for...still bleeding and had baby on 21st of July. Did you all having long term bleeding after delivery with this pain by chance.?? Doc put me on meds to stop bleeding and still hasnt worked....called and they said it would stop soon.....yeh right, seems like no better. Anyone know if this is norm or not??? Or how long I will bleed. ??? No one will give me answers so I need to hear from you all that are experienced on this....and oh yeh, the doctor told me the swelling in my right side and pain...it is normal, it will go away in time.....after reading what you all have written i dont believe it at all.

Julie, I had my baby over 1 year age. The bleeding lasted for 9 months with me. They put me on birth control, even though my tubes were tied, for 3 months to control the bleeding. It worked. I tried other meds befor that and it did not work. I now have normal periods most of the time but still come early or late but a least I do not bleed every day. Pain is still there though. I hope this helps.

Malena, are you still seeing the same Obgyn from your first pregnancy? I would do the same for the best of the baby. Besides pain, is everything fine with your pregnancy? I am asking you because I am not confident to be pregnant again while I'm in pain.

Linda, Yes I still go to the same OB/GYN. I would never want to discourage anyone from ever getting pregnant again or not again. The baby is absolutely healthy & doing fabulous. In fact, even though I was overweight before my pregnancies... I lose weight while pregnant without trying. I never had much bleeding after my C-sections, because my OB/GYNs make it a point to clean out as much as possible while they're in there. I had the equivalant of a light period each time. I guess that's one perk to sections for me anyway. When not pregnant, I don't have regular periods due to thyroid problems and they're light also.

Malena, thank you for answering my questions. I'm so happy for you that the baby is doing wonderful. I feel more comfortable of trying again later after your a__surance. Do you have pain when you sleep side way? I can't sleep on my left or right due to pain.

YES, LINDA, I HAVE PAIN WHEN I SLEEP ON MY SIDES, BACK & STOMACH. NEEDLESS TO SAY, I HAVE INSOMNIA. PAIN WAS BETTER WHEN I HAD A FULL NIGHT'S SLEEP WITH AMBIEN, BUT NOW I CAN'T TAKE MY SLEEP AIDS EITHER. I USED TO ONLY HAVE PAIN ON LEFT SIDE SO I TRAINED MYSELF TO SLEEP ON MY RIGHT. BUT I STILL HAVE PAIN ON MY LEFT. JUST THIS YEAR I'VE ALSO DEVELOPED SOME PAINS ON MY RIGHT WHEN I SLEEP ON THE RIGHT SIDE.

I also had 2 c-sections years ago and never had any problems. I also had lung surgery 6 months ago and now I have so much pain under the left b___st, heaviness and swelling. I am told it is adhesions, no pain medication is working. What do I do now, had xrays and ct that were okay. Also had an mri recently and now the doctor wants to see me tomorrow, what else could it be?

YES, I HAD A C-SECTION IN 2000 A MONTH LATER I DEVELOPED ADOMINAL PAIN MORE ON MY LEFT I HAD A LUMP ON MY RIGHT SIDE RIGHT ABOVE THE INCISION.I THEN GOT THAT REMOVE AND STILL HAD THE BLOATING AND PAIN SO I WENT FOR LAPOSCOPY SURGERY.I FOUND OUT NOTHING EXCEPT FOR I HAD NO REAL PROBLEMS ,NO ADHESIONS OR MASSES,ECT. MY DAUGHTER IS NOW ALMOST FIVE AND A HALF I STILL CONTINUE TO HAVE ALL THESE SYMPTOMS, HOWEVER THEY HAVE GOT WORSE! MY BLOATING IS SO INTENSE I FEEL SICK, I AM ASKED IF I AM PREGNANT.NOW MIND YOU I AM 5"5 WEIGH 102.5 NOT A BIG GIRL SO MY BELLY BEING BLOATED REALLY DRAWS ATTENTION.I SOMETIMES STAY IN THE HOUSE OR I WEAR MY WHAT I CALL BLOATING DAY CLOTHES. I REALLY HAVE NO ANSWER EXCEPT DON'T ALWAYS TRUST YOUR DOCTORS FIRST DIAGNOISIS, ALWAYS GET A SECOND OR THIRD OPONION.BLOATING AND ADOMINAL PAIN CAN BE TRICKING TO DIAGNOIS. GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR SURGERY.* AFTER YOUR SURGERY TAKE AWHILE TO RELAX CAN BE VERY PAINFUL, TRY NOT TO EAT FOODS JUST FLUIDS FOR THE FIRST COUPLE DAYS.GOD BLESS

Elizabeth,
Thank you so much for the in depth a___lysis that you provided on incisional endometriosis. I got endo from my c section, which implanted itself in my lower right abdomen, and was lodged all the way on to the stomach sheath....I had the excision in April, and have started to have recurring pain for two cycles now in July and August. Have just gotten on the pill. Am afraid that the excision did not do the trick and am wondering what is next to minimize recurrence.
